Hi! My name is Denise May. I am thrilled to be a part of the Quarles family and look forward to getting to know my students and their families this year.

I graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and have been teaching for over 20 years. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 2 adult children - Reagan and Ryder.

When I'm not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching football, being outside, shopping, watching movies, and traveling. One of my dreams came true when my children’s book, Emmy’s Big Change, was released on Amazon last year.

Each school year is as unique as the students in my class and I can't wait to see all that we learn from one another throughout this year!
