I was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland.  After high school, I made my way to the beautiful western Maryland. I graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and later earned my Masters degree in Special Education. This is my seventeenth year teaching elementary students!

My family and I moved to Winchester, Virginia in 2018. I have three children, two sons and a daughter. I love to watch the Ravens play football, read children's books and shop at antique stores.  In the summer, my family and I enjoy soaking up the sun at the ocean and kayaking. 

Lastly, I have two miniature pinschers, Duncan and Issac, who love lots of attention!
