I grew up near Pittsburgh, Pa (Go Steelers!) and I earned my bachelor's degree from Westminster College in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development. I attained my master's degree as a Reading Specialist from Shenandoah University. 

I have been teaching for sixteen years. I taught second and third grade for eight years in Warren County, and I've been teaching 5th grade at Daniel Morgan for the past seven years. I am currently the English Team Leader.

I love reading and writing and I hope my passion for English spreads to the students I am fortunate to work with everyday. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
