Winchester is where I was born and raised! I went to Mary Baldwin College and received a BA degree in Business and a degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters in Reading at Shenandoah University in 2018.  I am a certified Reading Specialist, and certified to teach ELL students. This is my eleventh year teaching at Quarles. This school year I am honored to be the 2022-2023 Winchester Public School Teacher of the Year. I have taught for two years in 1st grade, six years in 2nd, two years in 3rd, and this year I am taking on a new position. I am the Multi-Classroom Leader (MCL) for first and second grade. 

I am married and have two sons, Jake and Logan. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, going on walks, and watching movies (Christmas movies are my favorite).
