I have been teaching at Daniel Morgan for 17 years.  I taught for one year in eighth grade and have been teaching 5th grade English inclusion classes for 16 years.  I have an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Mary Washington as well as a master's degree in Special Education from West Virginia University.  My husband and I have two daughters, two cats, and a Yorkie named Higgins.  I enjoy reading classic novels and writing children's stories.   My goal is to have a children's book published one day.
