Gemini is an AI-powered assistant within Google Workspace for Education that aims to enhance teaching and learning, providing educators with tools to create lesson plans, summarize emails, and generate images, while also offering guided support and resources to students. All in a private and secure environment.

You enter a prompt into Gemini. Gemini uses its knowledge or fetches information from other sources to respond. Gemini learns from your prompts, responses, and feedback.

It can answer questions, assist with writing emails, summarize reports, run analyses, learn new concepts, create images, and brainstorm ideas.

ChatGPT

 

ChatGPT is a generative AI chatbot that interacts with you conversationally, the way a human would. It's trained with information from all over the internet and by humans to interact with you in an authentic way.

Ask ChatGPT a question or give it a request, and it will respond. ChatGPT provides a response based on the context and intent behind your question by analyzing queries and generating a response built on digitally-accessible text from worldwide content.

AI Prompt Library

 

The AI Prompt Library provides prompt templates, example prompts, and expansion ideas for common tasks educators use every day. There are prompt selections to cover a variety of educator needs, such as lesson planning materials, special needs supports, communication resources,  and more. 

From the prompt library page, select a topic and then a subtopic. The subtopic page will provide you with a template prompt that you can copy and paste into an AI tool and change the content in the brackets to your specific needs. There are also additional ideas for expanding your AI request.
