Grading Scale Quality Points Scale for Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021
Grade Percentage Points
A 90 - 100 = 4
B 80 - 89 = 3
C 70 - 79 = 2
D 60 - 69 = 1
F 0 - 59 = 0
The final grades earned in all subjects taken are used to compute the grade point average. Final grades in AP courses are weighted.
For the Class of 2019: Students will receive an additional 0.17 quality points added to their base GPA if they sit for the AP exam.
For the Classes of 2020 & 2021 and After: In order to receive weighted credit for an Advanced Placement course, the student must take the associated AP exam. Students enrolled in Advanced Placement electing not to take the associated AP exam will be awarded 4.5 quality points.
