I have called Winchester my home since I was five, I'm orginially from Lynchburg, Virginia.  I graduated from James Wood High School and returned to my south western Virginia roots to attended Radford University for my undergrad.

I have taught at Frederick Douglass for over 10 years, as a Reading Specialist.  Before joining the FDES family, I taught first grade at John Kerr Elementary and third grade at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary in Frederick County Virginia.

My husband and I enjoy spending our free time watching our son play various sports, playing with our dog Earl, going to the pool, visiting with family, and traveling.  Our favorite vacation spot is Hilton Head Island,  SC.   We treasure the time spent there and creating memories with our son.
