Recently, Winchester Public Schools received a $280,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Education to extend the school year for our most vulnerable 8th and 9th graders.
Through this program, students from first-generation or underrepresented groups are given the opportunity to visit college campuses or targeted college fairs, providing inspiration and memorable experiences.
