Our Equity Work is Making an Impact
Advanced Placement Potential through the PSAT
The AP Potential report from the PSAT gives counselors and administrators data to ensure that all students who have potential are enrolled in rigorous, college preparatory classes.
ASPIRE Extended School Year
Recently, Winchester Public Schools received a $280,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Education to extend the school year for our most vulnerable 8th and 9th graders.
Through this program, students from first-generation or underrepresented groups are given the opportunity to visit college campuses or targeted college fairs, providing inspiration and memorable experiences.
Our state recognized preschool program is serving our most vulnerable students in poverty and achieving great student results.
