JKES will once again have teams of students participating in First Lego League Jr. this school year. Teams will explore, build, and code using Lego Education WeDo 2.0. Team's will meet after school as part of our JKES Enrichment classes. Prior registration is required to participate.
This year's theme for students in grades 2nd-4th is Star Wars Boomtown. Students will explore the challenges of living in space, including food, drink, energy, breathing, etc. Then teams will design and build Boomtown from Legos, including at least one motorized part. Team will share their creations using a poster during the First Lego League Jr. Expo.
For more information, please see Boomtown Inspire Modle video here from First Lego League Jr.
