Hello Pandas! My name is Mrs. Vanderwater, and this is my 7th year at Frederick Douglass. I am a content support teacher, and I have the privilege of working with amazing students in all different grade levels. 

My hometown is Latrobe, PA where I graduated from Greater Latrobe Senior High School in 2007. I attended college at Saint Francis University and dual majored in elementary and special education, graduating with my bachelor of science degree in 2011. 

My husband Michael and I began our teaching careers in NC, but found the beautiful Winchester in 2016 and have been here since! 

We have 2 lively boys, Tanner (Age 4) and Nolan (Age 1) and an 11 year old mini-daschund named Bazinga.
