Winchester Public Schools recognizes the instructional benefits of the Internet and protects students from harmful situations by providing a safe environment for its students. The school division’s Acceptable Use Policy clearly states the appropriate use of its computer system for the safety of students and the consequences for misuse. Parents are assured of our commitment to Internet/computer safety and concerns they have regarding the potential risks presented by Internet use. All students are required to receive Internet safety training, which is integrated in the division’s instructional program, grades K-12.

The Internet safety resources available on this page are intended to help maintain a safe and secure environment and protect children while using the Internet. Adult involvement and supervision are key ingredients for keeping children safe in an online environment. We invite you to use the links below to access resources, tips, and guidelines for safe Internet use.
